RB tilted Mock Draft.........

1.01 ... L.T.

When it comes down to it you can't pass on an every down back who even on a bad day puts up #'s. Say what you will about the others.....LT ain't sharing and he definitely ain't slowing down!!!

I'll end with this......I dare you!

1.02 ... Marion Barber

Wait ... just wait a freakin' minute! The guy is going to be a full-time back now(provided Jones doesn't make a monster McFadden move) and if this is the case...you can bet he will be more productive than the others. The kid is a stud!!! Mark my words....if he's the man - he'll be 1500-1800 with 15-20 TDs ... oh yeah, he can catch it too!

1.03 ... BWB ... let me clarify....Brian Westbrook "Bitch"

Let's be honest, if he's healthy he may be #1 or #2, especially in our league. Fact is, Philly is looking for a stud wideout and that only makes him better! In PPR league this guy is the guy everyone was thinking Reggie Bush would be......he's not - Westbrook is!!!

1.04 ... Joe Addai

This is Simple ... year in and year out Indy scores and they are efficient ... ergo ... Addai gets his!!! Depending on the commitment to Addai he could very well put up some guady #'s ... with Harrison on the decline they may rely more on possessing the ball with the run, instead of the slants. He'll be near the top and could pop if he's used as he should be...have you ever really looked at his receptions in the play-offs???

1.05 ... Adrian Peterson

I'm torn here because I want to put him up at #1 or #2 but can't justify it with Chester hanging around....especially with AP already getting nicked up a bit last season. No way they can let him tote it 350-400 times and expect him to make it through a season or career. Even with limited opportunity compared to a full-time, solo act he could put up some sick #'s but I want to at least see another season before I annoint him....like everyone did last season.

1.06 ... Steven Jackson

Coming off inury in '07 I do think S-Jax will be motivated ... problem is the line in front of him may be worse than half the lines in college, hell high school for that matter. Unless he is involved in the passing game early and often, he may be that guy who gives you 93 yards and maybe a score.....the times he cracks 100 is when he busts off that long 56 yarder. Remember, how many carries can he get playing from behind???

1.07 ... Larry Johnson

Seriously...this guy is still available at #7 .. you have to grab him right? I know all the things working against him but here it is, plain and simple.....He scores TD's and get a ton of work!!!! He is going to put up #'s regardless of quarterback, line, coach, whatever!!!! I think you have to love the value here....I know I do!

1.08 ... Reggie Bush

The fact is Reggie is targeted and you have to believe he'll become a better runner once he learns you can't take everything to the house....just ask Fast Willie Parker. If I'm Shaun Payton I hire Jerome Bettis and let him explain things to Reggie the same way he did with Willie. PPR is huge for us and he is catching balls albiet for minimal yardage. He's sexy and someone will make the pick...you can take that to the house!!!

1.09 ... Marshawn Lynch

This kid showed signs of being special despite playing for an average at best team with limited weapons...just ask any and all Lee Evans owners! He can catch the hell out of the ball and runs hard to boot! Potentially, we could look back and say how did I not see that coming??? Don't live a life full of regret....pick this kid up and say I told you so.

1.10 ... ??????????????????

Portis, Brown, Maroney, MaGahee....you tell me. I could make an argument for all of them but truthfully - I don't want to!!!

Obviously, Moss has to be considered but I wanted to keep it to the RB's ... we have plenty of time once we determine draft slots!

April 26th is fast approaching my friends!!!

Happy March - time for a mock!

Happy March! Time to get engaged, boys... Here we go!
1.01 - Steven Jackson

Is this the year the man child runs wild? If he was good for LJ, the author of the 700 page playbook should be good for Mr. Jackson...that is, unless you count what happened with Portis the last couple years. Tough call at #1!

1.02 - L.T.
Hmmm...seems safe but is he? Something tells me I wouldn't want to be the guy picking LT this year. Just a hunch (but considering my early picks historically, LT is likely a mortal lock for MVP status!).
1.03 - Joseph Addai
Yeah, I know my co-commish will push AP and his sexiness up the board but isn't Addai in the safest situation any RB could possibly be in? And oh by the way, who the hell is going to throw the ball in Minny? I'll take the man with Manning, Wayne, Clark, Gonzalez, and some has been named Marvin (UCB - 2.02 in 2007).
1.04 - Adrian Peterson
This is where Mr. Peterson goes. If you don't mind seeing him stay in bounds looking for that next big hit on some 180 lb. defensive back, pick him. If his injury history makes you nervous, I'm right there with you...
1.05 - Brian Westbrook
Speaking of injury history! If you pick this guy you oughta get a free bottle of Tums because you're going to need it from the Wednesday injury report through 12:55 on Sunday! Gotta love the targets, though...
1.06 - Marshawn Lynch
Sneaky and maybe a bit early, but I have a sense that the situation is too good for a 3-down back who can be explosive in the flat. Tough to pass up Barber here but I wonder if Jerry Jones is going to bring someone else in to lighten the load.

1.07 - Marion Barber III
Touchdown machine. No more Julius Jones.
1.08 - Larry Johnson
Oddly enough, LJ is the exact type of player who drops in a year like this and DNice licks his chops. If the the BBQ Chefs from Kansas City grab a big offensive lineman at #5 you must like LJs chances this year - not to mention that enormous chip on his shoulder!
1.09 - Willis McGahee
One word: Opportunity. He's good for a touch or 100 every game. Where would he go if his 5 catch a game pace would have continued...with Cam Cameron, maybe it does?
1.10 - Reggie Bush
Too sexy to drop further and whoever is pickin' here will undoubtedly be tempted by the best WR. Afterall, doesn't he catch like one? He does, but not as much as the only Reggie worth taking in the top 10...

Other notables:
RB - Portis, Maroney, Ronnie Brown
WR - Wayne, TO, Moss, Fitz, Braylon
QB - Brady, Manning
Where would Fast Willie go if he were back in the mix? You may need to consider it...
