The life of an educator...

Since the weather is near 80 with clear skies on this glorious afternoon, I thought I take sometime out of my "busy" schedule and update everyone on life in the DES War Room.

This afternoon the legendary D&D provided some of what I like to call, "the common man insight" into the top 30 picks in 2008. Well, I am happy to say that he learned something today - and since the rest of you are "common" too, here's your daily dose...

Consider these patterns of players -

Picks 1-5: Tomlinson, Jackson, Peterson, Westbrook, and Addai

Picks 6-8: Lynch, McGahee, and Larry Johnson

Picks 9-14: Moss, Wayne, Owens, Andre Johnson, Ocho Stinko, and Houshmandzadeh

Picks 15-21: Portis, Barber, Maroney, Ronnie Brown, Fast Willie, Bush

Picks 22-30: Fitz, Boldin, Roy Williams, Plax, Braylon, Holt, Brady, Manning, Gates/Gonzo/Winslow

So this begs the question - If you're keeping 3 stud WRs by giving up your 2nd, do you really need to grab an RB in the 1st or can you take your pick of Rudi, Edge, LenDale, McFadden, the Texan's RB on the 3/4 turn?

Colston, Marshall, Santonio, and Reggie Wayne sounds awfully good to me...I'm not as dumb as I look.
