Is the UCB ship sinking?

Don't look now but the UCB juggernaut just hit the Favre iceberg! Yup. Sidney Rice is listening to Drew Rosenhaus instead of his doctors. Todd Haley is treating Jamaal Charles like he's Dwayne Bowe. Hakeem Nicks is sitting out every afternoon practice. Miles is dating Reggie's ex and dining with Romo. I keep waiting for Ashton Kutcher to knock on my door...

But with all bad situations there is a silver lining and that is I'm not forced to keep Aromadoodoo or Steve "kick-off man" Slaton for 2010. Let's not forget that Jermichael Finley is worthy of consideration, where as if he were on anyone else's roster, it's a no brainer. Time will tell...

With that said, it's great to see Ninja trying to pull a little Obi Wan out in the comment section! Although your thoughts are entertaining and a bit preposterous, let me go a bit further and predict that you'll be rolling IDP by the 33 spot at a minimum! Take a look for yourself. In 2009 you went Ruud and Ware right around Hines Ward, Derrick Mason, Fred Jackson, rookie RBs, Chris Cooley and Dustin Keller. My point: you aren't the type to go for a muddled pick when you can grab a huge name. Your book has been read...and it doesn't really include reaching for a committee back like Ronnie, Forte, or a Dallas RB let alone Percy or Santana Moss. My prediction - Jon Beason at 28 to the Mafia. If not, he won't be an option after the turn.
